Oniyah's Wish: "I wish to go to Disney World"
Granted By: GUTS 2014
Seven-year-old Oniyah could definitely be described as a girly-girl. She loves to spend her days coloring, dancing, cheerleading and watching Frozen. Oniyah has a condition called pulmonary hypertension, which causes abnormally high blood pressure in her lung's arteries which makes one side of her heart work harder than normal. She has spent countless days in the hospital, where she and her family found out she would qualify for a wish. Obsessed with all things Disney®, especially Minnie Mouse, she knew immediately that her wish would be to visit Minnie in her clubhouse at Disney World®.
Oniyah's wish trip represented a series of firsts for her family. It would be their first time flying, their first time to Disney World® and their first family vacation in a long time. Oniyah, her three older sisters and her parents spent a fun-filled week in Orlando, FL visiting the Disney theme parks, Universal Studios and Sea World. A special meet and greet with Minnie Mouse was even planned, the perfect way to end a perfect trip.
This simple trip meant so much for a little girl and her family who have gone through an incredible emotional journey. Oniyah knew this was the wish for her because, "Being in the sunshine makes my day better." Thank you for helping to make her wish come true.
