Rajenee's Wish: "I wish to go to Hawaii"
Granted By: GUTS 2015

Outgoing and excited wish kid Rajenee loves swimming, eating seafood and spending time with her family. After thinking of all her favorite things, it was no surprise that Rajanee's one true wish would be to go to Hawaii. When imagining her wish, she couldn't wait to be part of a luau, visit the beach, and go snorkeling and surfing. Rajenee was ready for an adventure of a lifetime, and couldn't wait to say aloha to Hawaii.

For her wish trip, Rajenee and her family spent a week enjoying the sunshine and beauty the islands had to offer. From the moment they stepped off the plane, they were embraced into the Hawaiian culture with a lei flower greeting. To start the trip, the family had a chance to experience the rich heritage of Hawaii at a luau. They enjoyed the delicious drinks, thrilling music and games, and even had a hula lesson. All the fun worked up quite an appetite and everyone enjoyed a tasty Polynesian feast.

For Rajenee, the highlight of her wish trip was going surfing at Kalama Park in Central Kihei. She had a two-hour surf lesson and then was ready to hit the water. She was hanging-ten just like the locals and even adopted the famous Hawaiian hand gesture the “shaka.” During the trip, the family also had the chance to go snorkeling at Wailuku, relax on the beach, eat delicious seafood and enjoy all the breathtaking views.

Rajenee's wish trip was the perfect escape from the stresses of doctor appointments and treatments, where she could enjoy time spent with her ohana (family). They made everlasting memories and shared moments they will cherish for years to come.
